The village of Mytilinioi is an attractive and verdant place located on a valley, 10 km south west of Vathy. It has a population of about 2000 inhabitants and is full of beautiful houses, churches and chapels. It must not be confused with the capital of Lesvos. The village was actually named that way because many people moved from Mytilene and settled down here around 18th century.
